Message	they weigh so much more. The amount of damage inflicted in an accident directly related to the speed AND weight (ie. momentum) of the vehicle. A SUV will inflict 3 times the damage of a Honda Civic at the same speed, simply because it weights 3 times more. And no matter how good a driver you are, there is no way you can guarantee that you won't get in an accident. And when you do, you are 3 times more likely to kill someone in an SUV. Think about that.
